JOHN HAROLD BEAMISH

John Harold Beamish, widely known member of this community died suddenly at his home on Monday, August 9, 1963. He was 78 years of age.

Born in Merrickville, son of the late George Beamish and his wife, the former Hanorah Dineen, Mr. Beamish had spent all his life in Merrickville. He was a carpenter and was well known throughout the district. In May 1917 he married the former Eva Adams who predeceased him March 30, 1954.

Mr. Beamish was a member of the St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church. He is survived by three sons, John of Ottawa, Vincent of Peterborough and Harold of Montreal; one daughter, Mrs. Kaye (Norah) Stephenson, Merrickville.

A son, Joseph died a few years ago.

The funeral was held from his late residence Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock to St. Ann's Church where requiem mass was sung by Rev. T. J. Larkin. Interment was in St. Ann's Cemetery, Merrickville.

The Pallbearers were Ed Jenny, Harold Driscoll, Willis Driscoll, Jack Dillabough, Wilfrid Beamish, Micheal Whalen.
