C. V. Gowin Dies on Saturday
Shamrock -Mr. C. V. Gowin of Shamrock died Saturday afternoon in Shamrock General Hospital. He had been in poor health for several years. He had been a resident of Shamrock since 1918 and was a member of the Lela Advent Christian Church.
Surviving him are his wife; four daughters, Mrs. Harry Jones of Samnorwood, Mrs. Durward of Olton, Mrs. Dora Jones of Shamrock and Mrs. W. H. Murray of Amarillo; three sons, Frank Gowin of Corona, California, Willis Gowin of Shamrock, Aty Gowin of Mineral Wells. Also surviving are 19 grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Richardson Funeral Home.
