MRS. NANCY NICHOLS
Mrs. Nancy C. Nichols, passed away at the home of her son, Wm. L. Nichols on Walnut street Tuesday afternoon at 1:45 o'clock. Sunday Mrs. Nichols was stricken with paralysis, and was unconscious up to the time of her death.
deceased was the daughter of Clayborn and Rebecca Wright, and was born near Callao July 5, 1844. Feb. 14, 1864 she was united in marriage to Ellis R. Nichols, and to their union was born five children, three boys and two girls. When young she became a member of the Christian church, moving her membership to this sity several years ago.
Funeral services will be conducted this afternoon from the Nichols home on Walnut street at 2:30 o'clock by Rev. R. E. L. Prunty, pastor of the Christian church. Interment will be made in Oakwood cemetery. Besides her sons, Albert C. Nichols, Wm. L. Nichols of this city, George E. Nichols of Muskogee, Okla., two daughters, Mrs. Dora A. Brewer of Iowa, Mrs. Rubey P. Brewer of Muskogee, Oklahoma, she leaves several grandchildren and great grand children, relatives and a host of friends to mourn the departure of a good mother.
