Bertha Taylor Kimber, age 97, died October 5, 1998 at her home in Salt Lake City.
She was born in Almo, Idaho, May 21, 1901, to Herman H. Taylor and Sarah Durfee. She married Joseph A. Kimber April 10, 1920 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They lived and raised their family in Grouse Creek, Utah.
She served in many church callings and loved to work with children. She served in the Eastern States Mission with her husband, an in the Gulf States Mission after his death. She worked as Foster Grandparents from 1967 until three weeks before her death.
Funeral service will be held Friday, October 9, 1998 at 12 p.m., Wells Ward, 1990 South 500 East, Salt Lake City, Utah. Friends may call at the Peterson Funeral Chapel, 634 E 200 S, Brigham City, Utah, Thursday 7-9 p.m. and at the Wells Ward one hour prior to service. Interment, Grouse Creek Cemetery.
