Cecil Francis Beamon, 82, of Underpass Road, Advance, died Wednesday, Sept. 10 at his residence.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Sept. 13, at 2 p.m. in Eaton Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Lanny Atkins and Robert Bell officiating. Burial will be in Advance Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Beamon was born May 7, 1915, in Davie County to the late Samuel and Mary Gaither Beamon. He was retired from Burlington House Furniture in Lexington and was preceded in death by a son, David Beamon.
Surviving are his wife, Octavia Church Beamon, of the home; a daughter, Camilla Loftin of Advance; 2 sons, Franklin Monroe Beamon and James Roger Beamon, of Advance; 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lena McBride of Mocksville.
