Funeral services for Laudie Mae Fitzpatrick of El Reno will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Trinity Baptist Church. Rev. Rod Young, Pastor will officiate. Interment will be in Red Rock Cemetery. Services are under direction of Wilson Funeral Home. Mrs. Fitzpatrick died on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at Care Living Center in El Reno. She was born on December 10, 1914 in Bonham, Texas to her parents John Willis and Reaber (Fergurson) Eason. She married William Haywood "Yank" Fitzpatrick on October 31, 1933 in Whitewright, TX. In 1934 they made their home in Lubbock, TX but relocated to El Reno, OK in 1937 for a year before moving to Borger, TX and lived there until her husband retired as a Lab Tech for Phillips Petroleum Co. They relocated back to El Reno in 1974. Laudie loved her family and enjoyed being a housewife and homemaker. Most of all she loved all of her grandchildren and great and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband William Haywood "Yank" Fitzpatrick; daughters Harla Thompson and Louise Abbott; son Wiley Fitzpatrick; parents John Willis and Reaber (Furgerson) Eason; sister Altha Whitley. She is survived by her son James Fitzpatrick and wife Marie of El Reno, OK; brother James "Jack" Eason of El Reno, OK; grandchildren Angela Dye, Joanne King, Matthew Abbott, Valerie Smith, Jay Thompson, Jeffrey Thompson, Michael Thompson, Penelope Potter, James Fitzpatrick II, Jocelyn Poteet, Daniel Fitzpatrick, and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
