The ninth child, we believe, and seventh son of Roxana (Worner) Hill and Jonathan Hill. He was born in Putnam County, West Virginia January 11, 1820. He grew to manhood in this section and lived there his entire life. On April 7, 1842 he married Annaliza Atkinson who was born May 30, 1825 and was a step-daughter of Nancy Hill, Aaron's oldest sister. Annaliza (Atkinson) Hill died January 1, 1881. Aaron Hill died November 6, 1882. Both are buried in the Martin Cemetery on eighteen mile creek in Putnam County. They had twelve children: Mary Jane, William A., John Wesley, Frances (Henrietta), Julia Ann, Emilie E., Calvin D., George Franklin, Melissa Elmira, Martha M., Nancy Alice, Floyd J.
