Mrs. Jared was a member of the Baptist Church and a native of Lincoln County. Her husband, W. F. Jared, preceded her in death in 1935. She was the daughter of the late John Monroe and Mary Leonard Caldwell.
She is survived by one son, John H. Jared, Lincoln County; two stepsons, Charlie Jared, Taylor, Pennsylvania, and Robert Jared, Tullahoma, Tennessee; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Roxie Sullenger, Moore County, Tennessee; two half-sisters, Mrs. Bessie and Mrs. Susie Hirlston, both of Lincoln County; three half-brothers, John W. Caldwell, Houston Caldwell, and Renzo Caldwell, all of Lincoln County; three grandchildren, 17 step-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
