Chief justice of the King's Bench and legal writer. Born before the beginning of the fifteenth century. Educated at Exeter College, Oxford. A 'gubernator' of Lincoln's Inn, 1425, 1426, and 1429. Received the degree of serjeant-at-law, 1429 or 1430. Fought on the Lancastrian side during the Wars of the Roses. Fought at the Battles of Towton (29 March 1471) and Tewkesbury (4 May 1471).
