Funeral service for Mabel Irene Warren was September 22, 2011 at Wilson Mortuary Chapel, Salem.

Interment was in the Pilgrams Rest Cemetery.

Mrs. Warren was born May 28, 1937 in Kahoka to Lloyd and Julia (Applegate) Brotherton.

She married April 2, 1955. They were the parents of six children.

Mrs. Warren died September 18, 2011 in Salem at the age of 74 years.

Survivors include five children, two brothers, one sister, one daughter-in-law, nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; son, Terry Warren; great-granddaughter, Laken Conaway; brothers, Edmond, Gene, Hilbert, Melvin, Elmer, Luther and Alvin Brotherton; sisters, Mildred Nichols, Marilyn Frey, Gertrude Asher, Maurine Hopkins and Margaret Brotherton.

Mrs. Warren attended Shannondale Community Church.
