Son of Elizabeth Hill & John Ownby, Jr.Araon "Ownbey" Ownby was born in Buncombe County, North Carolina. Aaron's family settled in Sevier County, Tennessee. Aaron was the son of John Ownby Jr. and Elizabeth Hill-Ownby. Aaron married Mary "Polly" Buckner in Sevier County abt 1834. Mary "Polly" Buckner was the daughter of Joel Buckner and Mourning Carr-Buckner. Aaron Ownbey and Mary "Polly" Ownbey add the following Children;

4. Marion Harrison Ownby
