WILLISTON — Services for William Henry Ferguson, 91, will be held one p.m. Saturday, January 21, 2006, at the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, with burial in Barnwell Memory Gardens on Reynolds Road. The family will receive friends from six to eight p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mr. Ferguson died Wednesday.

Born in Allendale, he was a son of the late William and Emma Morris Ferguson. He was a farmer and formerly worked at Barnwell Woolen Mills. He attended Long Branch Baptist Church and was a member of Woodmen of the World. He was first married to the late Emma Lee Laird Carroll and was widower of Lorene Birt Morris.

Survivors include daughters, Docia D. Fountain of North Augusta, Virginia M. Hutto of Barnwell, Carolyn M. Cramer of North Charleston, Glorene M. Johnston of North Augusta, Neta M. Rutland of Blackville; sons, W. Jerry and Jeanette Ferguson of Lexington, Lloyd and Bertha Carroll of Barnwell, Cleveland and Brenda Morris, Roger and Karen Morris, L.M. and Linda Morris all of Williston; brother, Wade Ferguson of Sycamore; 35 grandchildren, 75 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, James Henry Carroll, sister, Retta Laird, brothers, John, Edgar, and Woodrow Ferguson.
