Argyle-(Special)-Mrs. Margaret Garrison, 91, one of Argyle's oldest residents, died at 8:30 Friday evening, in her home of complications following a stroke suffered some months ago. Her condition had been serious only the past several weeks.
Margaet Fleury was born in Janesville, Oct. 26, 1853. When a small child she moved to the town of Adams with her parents, William and Elizabeth (Ryan)Fleury. There they lived until her marriage in April 1882 to Reuben Garrison, following which the Garrisons went to the town of Adams to farm until 25 years ago when they retired and moved to Argyle to live.
Surviving are two children, Mrs. William Barry, town of Addams and Frank Garrison of Gilett, Wis.; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Her husband and an infant daughter are deceased. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic church and of Alter society.
