Argyle- Mrs. Ellen Collentine, 75, well known resident of Argyle, passed away Monday at 5:30 am, in her home in this village. Her death, coming after an illness of two years, was due to a complication of diseases.
Ellen Finley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Finley was born April 6, 1854 in Fayette, Wis. In 1871 she was united in marriage to Michael Collentine, who preceded her in death 31 years ago. Prior to his death, the couple resided on a farm near Fayette. Mrs. Collentine had resided here for the past 20 years. She was affiliated with St. Joseph's Catholic church of this village.
Survivors are three daughters, Miss Margaret Collentine at home, Miss Mary Collentine of Seattle, Wash., and Mrs. Will Barry, Argyle. Funeral services have not yet been arranged.
