Passed away Wednesday morning, Feb. 25, 1981, at the Yal Medical Center in Yale, Mi, after a lengthly illness. Age 71 years Mabel Secord was born July 12, 1909 in St. Clair County. She was married to Carl Blaesser Aug. 3, 1930. He predeceased her Dec. 7, 1976. She was a member of the St. Luke's English Lutheran Church in Vassar. Surviving are one sister, Mrs. John Kern, Melvin, Mi.; one aunt, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will take place 2:00 p.m. Friday at the St. Luke's English Lutheran Church. Rev. O. F. Maasch will officiate with burial in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens in Saginaw, Mi. Friends may call at the Clark Funeral Home in Vassar after 7:00 p.m. Wednesday. Memorials may be given to the church. Saginaw Daily News
