Funeral services were held Saturday in the First United Methodist Church in Marion with Rev. Wesley Hart officiating. Interment was in the Lake View Cemetery at Marion.
Ethel Trapp was born August 18, 1908 at Marion, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John H. Trapp, where she received her schooling and graduated from High School in 1927. After graduation, she entered the Hardware Store business with her father and continued until fire destroyed the Trapp Hardware and Implement Company on December 23, 1961. She had been retired since that time. Miss Trapp was a member of the United Methodist Church of Marion, and served as a Sunday School teacher for many years. She was also a member of the Women's Christian Temperance Union.
Survivors are one brother, Myles Trapp, Valley City, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
