Funeral services were held Monday for Mrs. Clarence Smock, 42, who passed away Friday. Services were from the Lutheran church, in charge of Rev. O.H. Schaible.

Mrs. Smock had been in very poor health for more than a year.

The deceased was born at Scotland, S.D. and following her marriage in 1913, made her home in Iowa for five years. The family came to Miller ten years ago.

Surviving her death are her husband, one daughter, Mrs. M H. Loghry of Loomis, S.D., and two sons, Duane and Virgil; her mother, Mrs. John Hayen of Parkston and one granddaughter.
