MRS. KESSLER PASSES AWAY
85 - Year Old Resident of Sandcreek Township Dies – Funeral Thursday
Mrs. Mary Kessler, 85, wife of William Kessler, well-known resident of Sandcreek Township, died at 7:30 o'clock last night at the Tipton Knoll nursing home, to which place she was admitted several days ago after a long illness.
The funeral will be held Thursday, but arrangements have not been completed pending word from relatives in other cities.
Mrs. Kessler spent most of her life in Sandcreek Township and was well-known. She was a member of the Sandcreek Friends Church.
Surviving besides her husband are a sister, Mrs. Julia Baugher of Michigan City; a nephew, Glenn Parish of this city, and two young men, Otis Sutfin of Chicago, and Leo Downing of Anderson, whom she reared.

SET RITES FOR MRS. KESSLER
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Kessler, wife of William Kessler of Azalia, who died at Tipton Knoll nursing home, will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Sandcreek cemetery. The casket will be open this evening and tomorrow at the Hathaway funeral home until time of services.
