"Mrs. Emma J. Parrish, 69 years old, widow of Thomas Parrish, died this morning at 8 o'clock at the county hospital following a long illness due to a complication of diseases.
The body has been moved to the Hege & Flanigan funeral home, Fifth and Pearl streets, where funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock.
Burial will be in Garland Brook cemetery.
Mrs. Parrish was born and reared in Sandcreek township, but 28 years ago located in Arkansas. She lived there until a few years ago, when she returned here for about 18 months, and had been living with her sister, Mrs. Mary Kessler, near Azalia.
Her condition became such several weeks ago that she was moved to the county hospital.
Surviving are a son, Glenn, and a daughter, Mrs. T.F. (Thomas Franklin) Bryant of (Taft, Kern County) California; a brother, Mort Downing of Tampa, Fla., and three sisters, Mrs. Kessler, of Azalia; Mrs. Harry Compton, of California, and Mrs. Phil Brougher, of Bourbon, Ind."
