William la Zouche, 1st Lord (Baron) (la) Zouche (of Haryngworth), so created by writ of summons to Parliament 16 Aug 1308-14 Feb 1347/8 first as Lord (Baron) la Zouche, later as Lord (Baron) la Zouche of Haryngworth. He was the son of Eudo la Zouche and Millicent de Cantilupe.
He was knighted in 1306, did military service against the Scots 1301-33 and in Ireland 1317 and 1332, also in Gascony 1324-25.
He married by February 15, 1295 Maud the daughter of John Lovel 1st Lord (Baron) Lovel (of Titchmarsh).
