Mrs. Mary Atchley Edrington, 96, formerly of Green County, daughter of the late James and Emma Gray Atchley, was born in Green County, Kentucky, September 7, 1871. She died Wednesday, March. 6th at the Metzmeirer Nursing Home in Campbellsville where she had been a patient for the past six years. Prior to this she had made her home with her son, T.R. Edrington, 1109 Lebanon Avenue. Mrs. Edrington was the sole surviver of a family of twenty three children. Early in life she professed faith in Christ and became a member of the Bethel Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Some 78 years ago she was married to the late Julius Liburn Edrington. To this union three sons and four daughters were born. Surviving are: Mrs. Laura Larimore of Greensburg; Mrs. Mildred Skaggs and Clyde Edrington both of Campbellsville, Route 4; and T.R. Edrington of Cambellsville. Besides her children, she is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grand children and eight great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Friday, March 8th in the Parrott and Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville with Dr. J. Chester Badget and Rev. V.A. Jones officiating. Burial was in the Liberty Cemetery. Pallbearers were Frank Turner, Ulys Lobb, Roy Holt, Woodrow Edwards, Bill Edwards and Gary Price.
