DEATH CALLED MRS. MURPHY
Ill for Several Months; Funeral Friday Morning at 10
Mrs. D. P. Murphy passed away last night at about 1:30 oclock at her home four miles northwest of the city, after having been confined to her bed since early in October, when she underwent an operation at the Jefferson County hospital. The funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10 oclock from St. Mary's Catholic church in charge of Rev. E. F. Gaule and interment will take place at Evergreen cemetery.
Mary Ellen Murphy was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cornelius Millane and was born July 12, 1865 in Illinos. She is survived by her husband ant the following daughters: Helen, Agnes, Elizabeth, Teresa, and Grace (sic. note that daugther Mary Alice Murphy was inadvertently left out of this part of the obituary). She also leaves four brothers and two sisters: John Millane and Frank Millane and Mrs. Thomas Dwyer of Fairfield, James Millane of Chester, Neb., Cornelius Millane of New Mexico and Mrs. J. A. Bartch (sic. a/k/a "Barch") of Colorado Springs, Colo.
