Added October 6, 2014 - I was reviewing "The History of Salem, Massachusetts" by Sidney Perley, Volume III 1671 - 1716 when I ran across the following. I am not disputing any difference in information - just providing what is written. I notice there are a few additional names that might help some other researcher: "Samuel Edson was living in Salem in 1655; removed to Bridgewater; deacon; representative; married Susanna ____; died July 9, 1692, aged 80; she died Feb 20, 1699-1700; children: 1. Samuel: married Susanna Byrum; 2. Joseph; 3. Josiah; 4. Susanna; married Rev. James Keith; 5. Elizabeth; married Richard Phillips of Weymouth; 6. Mary; married Nicholas Byrum in 1676; 7. Sarah; married John Dean of Taunton Nov. 7, 1663; 8. Bethiah; married Ezra Dean Dec. 17, 1678." Samuel and Sarah are both my ancestors.
