Charles was the last surviving child of William and Margaret Munday Snoots. He was predeceased by his first wife, the former Alma Shumaker, in 1908. He was survived by their children Edith McGaha and Ralph. Two of their daughters predeceased him, Louise Long died in 1930 and infant Mary Margaret died in 1898. Charles remarried to Pearl Frye, who survived along with their children Mildred Hersberger, Mabel Graham and George. He was also survived by several grandchildren.
