The Herald, Piedmont, West Virginia, Tue 4 June 1996: "Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Lonaconing, Md., for Elizabeth ‘Betty' Cornelia Lamb, 70, of 809 Ashbrook Avenue, Cumberland, Md., who died 28 May 1996 at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland. Father John Wielebski officiated and burial was in St. Joseph's cemetery, Midland, Md. The Eichhorn-McKenzie Funeral home, Lonaconing, was in charge of arrangements. Born 23 April 1926 in Midland, she was a daughter of the late William Winner and Emma (Hemming) Winner. Mrs. Lamb retired as a registered nurse in 1980 at Sacred Heart Hospital and was a member of the American Nurses Association. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Cumberland and St. Joseph's Sodality. She is survived by her husband, Ralph Lamb; two stepsons, Frankie Lamb, address unknown and Leonard Lamb, Orlando, Fla; three stepdaughters, Kitty Benyecko, Las Vegas, Nev.; Anita Heavener and Loma Lynn Pain, Petersburg; 13 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; four sisters, Mary Stakem, Midland; Edna Keiling, Wrights Crossing, Md.; Angela Carpenter, Westernport and a loving twin sister, June Stanton, Midland; two brothers, Arthur Winner, Midland and Robert Winner, Phoenix, Ariz. And many nieces and nephews."
