ILION - Antonia J. West, 92, of Prindle Apartments, Ilion, passed away Saturday, Jan. 31, 2004, at home.






Antonia was born July 14, 1912, in Medford, Wis., the daughter of the late Anton and Ida Lenard Lenhardt Galler. She was educated in the Waterville school system and was employed as a secretary for the Aetna Life Insurance Co. in Utica.

Mrs. West is survived by her son, Monte Snow of Unadilla; a stepson, Allyn H. West; a stepdaughter, Margaret Couchman; two grandchildren, Andrew and Jerry Snow, as well as several nieces.

She was predeceased by her husband, Allyn C. West in 1986.

Funeral services for Mrs. West will be held Tuesday, Feb. 3, at 2 p.m. at the Whiter-Hendrix Funeral Home, 100 Otsego St., Ilion. Interment will be in the spring at the Union Cemetery, Edmeston.

Friends may call Tuesday from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home.
