RITES FOR STUDENT SET FOR FRIDAY

Graveside services will be held Friday, November 5, for John McKinley, who died in Portland on November 2 at the age of 17 years. Funeral procession will leave Macy and Son Funeral home at 2 p.m.

A student at Gaston high school, John McKinley was born in Hopewell on July 4, 1931. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Elgin McKinley of Yamhill, who survive. Other survivors include a brother, Jimmy McKinley, and a sister, Louise Irene McKinley.

Macy and Son will be in charge of funeral arrangements and interment will be at Hopewell cemetery.

YAMHILL STUDENTS ATTEND FUNERAL

YAMHILL, Nov. 11 - A bus load from the high school attended the grave side services at Hopewell Friday afternoon of John McKinley, Yamhill Union high school senior, who died in a Portland isolation hospital of polio. Pallbearers were Jesse Berry, Harvey Powell, Bill Barnes, Wayne Stonebrink, Robert Munro and Richard Wade.
