Cornelia Mitchell, the daughter of George Mitchell and Betty Jane Roark, married Floyd Gilley on August 2, 1919. They had 11 children: Ruben b. 4/19/1920, Raymond b. 9/5/22, Reva b. 9/13/23, Recia b. 2/19/25, Rudell b. 9/30/26, Iva Jean, Irene b. 2/4/31, Inez, and Irona Faye, two children also died in infancy Renavelle and Roy Gilley. Cornelia was always known by the nickname Tenie or Tena by her friends and family-Hence the name on the grave stone. She passed away in 1982, 15 years after her husband Floyd.
