LuDeen Howe Atwood Died April 25, 1998 in Bountiful, Utah after a short illness.
She was born in Provo, Utah on October 31, 1915 to Leonard and Theodora (Dee) Howe. She married Royal Carlisle Atwood on June 17, 1938 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Royal preceded her in death in 1992. She was active in the LDS Church all her life, serving in many positions, including as a missionary with her husband in Maryland, and as a Temple worker in the Salt Lake and Bountiful Temples.
She was the mother of Richard (Kathy) Atwood, Livermore, California; Ronald (Barbara) Atwood, Farmington, Utah; Mary (Loren) Evans, Taylorsville, Utah; Marie (Mick) Haws, Suwanee, Georgia; Paul (Frida) Atwood , Ft. Meade, MD. She was the grandmother of 20 and great-grandmother of 14. She was the sister of LaVon (Lester) Jones, Heber City, Utah; Roland (Jeanne) Howe, Centerville, Utah; John (Maxine) Howe, Santa Maria, California; Arnold (Erma) Howe, Las Vegas, Nevada.
The viewing will be held at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful on Monday, April 27, 1998 from 7 - 9 p.m. and one hour prior to services to be held at the Bountiful Tabernacle, 51 South Main, Bountiful, Utah at 11 a.m. Interment will be at the Centerville City Cemetery.
