David Gordon, 87, a retired businessman, World War II decorated U.S. Navy veteran and a resident of Las Vegas for 48 years, passed away Saturday, April 24, 2010. David was born Jan. 1, 1923, in Los Angeles, one of eight brothers and sisters born to parents Morris and Goldie. David was preceded in death by his beloved wife, of 55 years, Miriam, who passed away in 2002. He is survived by sons, Gerald and Marc of Las Vegas; daughters-in-law, Yvonne and Cynthia; grandchildren, Sara, Jeffrey, Benjamin, Annabel and Roger; brother, Ruby; sister-in-law, Rita; and sister, Annie. Service and burial following will be at 9:20 a.m. Tuesday, April 27, at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, in Boulder City. The family asks that any gifts or memorials in the form of donations be made in David's honor to Temple Ner Tamid of Las Vegas.
