Jeanie was the daughter of James Henry and Bertie (Carter) Turner. She married Leroy Lanoy on Sept. 22, 1956 in Coalgate and later married Rex Ables on Oct. 26, 1973 in Durant, OK. He preceded her in death on June 21, 1992. She was a graduate of Coalgate High School in 1957. She was an LPN for many years, she worked in many different nursing facilities throughout southern Oklahoma. She enjoyed her work, and even after retirement she continued helping others in many ways. Jeanie loved her family dearly and spent as much time as she could enjoying her family and friends. In Jeanie's leisure time she did enjoy going to the casino from time to time. She was a great mother, sister and wife, grandmother and friend. She touched many hearts; she was greatly loved and will always be missed. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Jimmy Ables; half sister, Thelma Smith and brother in law, Ed Dority.
