Mrs. Kizzie Griffin of Shelby Street in Lebanon, formerly of Taylor County, daughter of the late Samuel Campbell and Mrs. Kizzie Harding Campbell, was born in Taylor County, Ky., May 29, 1890. She died at 10:05 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 16, 1978, at the Mary Immaculate Hospital in Lebanon where she had been a patient for the past nine days. Mrs. Griffin had professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She united in marriage to Henry Griffin, April 21, 1917. He preceded her in death Feb. 28, 1961. To this union three daughters were born: Doris Harding Griffin died in infancy. Surviving are Mrs. Bernice Phillips and Miss Barbara Griffin, both of Lebanon. One step-daughter preceded her in death: Mrs. Alice Rivers on July 19, 1977. Besides her two daughters, she is survived by two stepsons and three stepdaughters: Edwin Griffin of Campbellsville, Rt. 1, James L. Griffin and Mrs. Nancy Richerson, both of Campbellsville, Rt. 2, Mrs. Lelia Turner of Lexington, and Mrs. Mary Ella Berry of Granite, Oklahoma. She is also survived by four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; fifteen step-grandchildren; 36 step-great-grandchildren; two step-great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m., Monday, Dec. 18, at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Chapel in Campbellsville by Rev. Richard Ramsey and Dr. D. L. Druien. Burial was in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers were Wayne Kessler, Tom Hudson, J.
