Funeral services were Wednesday, Dec. 19 for Mrs. Hattie Ehlers of R. 1, Port Washington. Mrs. Ehlers died Dec. 16 at St. Alphonsus Hospital at the age of 79.
She was born Aug. 28, 1894 at Milwaukee, the daughter of Herman and Minnie Differt Nuelk. In October, 1915 she married Henry Ehlers of Fox Point in services at St. John's Lutheran Church in Glendale. The couple lived in Fox Point until 1936 when they moved to town of Saukville.
She is survived by her husband, Henry; two daughters, Mabel Tamms of Sturgeon Bay, Delores Spiel of West Bend; and a son Harvey of Port Washington; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She is further survived by two sisters and two brothers.
Funeral services were at St. John's Lutheran Church in Port Washington, the Rev. Edgar Greve officiating. The Mueller Funeral Home in Grafton handled arrangements for Mrs. Ehlers, and burial was at the Graceland Cemetery in Milwaukee.
