MRS. LaPIETRA
Mrs. LaPietra was a native of Palermo, Italy, and had been a resident of Monroe for 60 years.

Mrs. Annie LaPietra, 68, of 601 Adams Street, Monroe, Louisiana, died this morning at St. Francis Hospital following a long illness. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Sunday at St. Matthews Catholic Church, with Monsgr. J. C. Marsh officiating. Burial will be in St. Matthews Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn's Funeral Home. A Rosary Service will be held at 8 pm Saturday in the Mulhearn Chapel.

Mrs. LaPietra is survived by five daughters:
Mrs. R. B. Hair of Angola, Louisiana
Mrs. Jimmy Wood of Bernice, Louisiana
Josephine LaPietra Hesler (Mrs. Luther Eugene Hesler) of West Monroe
Mrs. Melvin Anding of West Monroe
Three sons:
Rocco LaPiertra of Monroe
Jimmy LaPietra of Monroe
Joe LaPietra of Monroe
