MRS. JAMES DELAY

Funeral services for Mrs. James Delay, 63, a lifelong resident of the Castle Grove community, were held at the Immaculate Conception church in Castle Grove township Monday morning. Mrs. Delay died at her home Thursday. As Agnes Hogan, Mrs. Delay was born Feb. 14, 1871, in Jones county within a mile of where she lived practically all her life.

She was the daughter of Daniel and Bridget Bagen Hogan. Mr. Delay died April 20, 1924. Mrs. Delay is survived by the following children: The Rev. James Delay, assistant priest at St. Martin's church at Cascade; Mrs. Marcus Kehoe of Castle Grove township and William and Joseph Delay, at home.

She is also survived by three sisters and one brother: Miss Kate Hogan of Anamosa; Mrs. Mary Heary of Cascade; Mrs. McGovern of Vinton and William Hogan of Anamosa.

Funeral services for Mrs. Delay were conducted by the Rev. Father John Hennessey, pastor of the Immaculate Conception church, of which she had been a member for many years. Burial was in the Immaculate Conception cemetery.
