Funeral services for Mr. Benjamin Franklin Horton, age 94, of Crockett, will be held Sunday, January 6, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ottis Byers and Rev. Dwayne Horton officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunset Cemetery in Nacogdoches. Family will receive friends Saturday evening beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Lorna Rose Emma Horton, father, Lolly Horton; mother, Claudia Horton, brothers and sisters, Fred Horton and wife Naomi, Nola Bea Echols and husband, Marvi, Marie Jones, and Johnny Horton.
Survived by one daughter, three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, one sister in law and several special nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.
