Juanita Barnhart, 90, of St. Marys, WV, passed away on December 1, 2012 at Carehaven of Pleasants surrounded by her family. Juanita was born May 5, 1922 in Pleasants County, WV, where she lived most of her life. She worked at Weirton Steel Tin Mill during WWII, and was retired from the former Colin Anderson Center as a seamstress. She was a talented crafter and seamstress. Juanita was the only child of Jesse and Harriett Shultz, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, John Fitzgerald.

Surviving Juanita are her husband, Gilbert, whom she married on January 15, 1944, sons, Jesse (Judy) Barnhart and Larry (Brenda) Barnhart all of St. Marys, and daughter, Harriett Fitzgerald of Ripley, WV. In addition she was the loving grandmother of, Brian (Vicci), Steve (Maria), Brad, Linda (Bill), Ron (Terri), Renee (Chris), Alina, and Leslie of St. Marys and Ripley, WV. She had fourteen great grandchildren, and two great great granddaughters. Juanita often said she had had a wonderful life. She took great pride in her family. Those who loved her will miss her so very much.

Service will be held Wednesday, December 5, 2012, at 2 P. M. at the Ingram Funeral Home, St. Marys, WV with Jimmy Taylor and Dave Williamson officiating. Interment will be in the St. Marys IOOF Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P. M. Tuesday, and from 1 to 2 P. M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
