Frances J. Brown Roll was the oldest child of Theodore and Mary Elizabeth Falke Brown of Fairfield township, Carroll County, Missouri.
She married Daniel Bartholomew of Livingston County, Missouri 23 Aug 1883. They moved to Kansas where they had two girls, Mary J. Bartholomew, born 1883 and Elizabeth Bartholomew born in 1900. A
After Daniel died about 1902 and in 1905 Frances married Thomas J. Roll. Thomas died 14 Nov 1914 in Hutchinson, Kansas. Frances lived with her daughter Mary J. and son-in-law, Elster D. Horney or Pratt County, Kansas.
After Elster died, Frances and Mary J. Horney continued to live in Springvale township, Pratt Kansas. Frances died in 1940 in Pratt County, Kansas. She is buried in Cullison Cemetery, Cullison, Pratt, Kansas.
