MR. AUDREY HEMPHILL the son of the late Mary Steele Hemphill and John Hemphill, Jr. was born in Chester County, South Carolina August 25, 1926 and death beckoned him with out stretched arms December 7, 1988 from 426 E. White Street, Apt—C Rock Hill, South Carolina. Being reared in a Christian Home he joined Cedar Grove Baptist Chruch at an early age. He and the late Miss Claudia Ruth Moffatt were united in marriage and to this union nine children were born. He leaves to cherish fond memories two daughters, Mrs. Veronica Reeder of Capital Heights, Md.; and Mrs. Ruth McCiinton of Lancaster, S.C.; eight Sons: Gene, Ray, Knovell, Melvin, Richard and Dennis
