Funeral services for Mrs. Josephine Trimboli Carbone, 60, of 48 Willow Street, widow of Dominick Carbone, who died in Massena Memorial Hospital shortly before midnight n Thursday, October 11, 1973 were held Sunday, October 14, 1973 in St. Mary's Church.
Death followed a long illness.
Mrs. Carbone is survived by one son, Joseph, Auburn; three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Marie) Reagan, Potsdam; Mrs. William (JoAnn) Trippany, Massena; Mrs. Ralph (Stephanie) Thibault, Massena; eight grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Sam Elizabeth) Portolese, Mrs. Joseph (Mary) Grillo and Mrs. Joseph (Phoebe) Catanzarite, all of Massena, and several nieces and nephews. Another sister, Mrs. Patsy (Katherine) Germano is deceased.
Born in Massena June 15, 1913, Mrs. Carbone was a daughter of the late Rocco and Josephine Caminita Trimboli. She attended Massena schools and was married to the late Dominick Carbone, who died in January 1971.
Mrs. Carbone had been employed at Kinneys Drug Store on Main Street, the Boston Store the Riverside Press and for thee past eight years by the Social Services Department in Canton.
She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church, a member of the Sacred Heart League and of the Auxiliary of the Italian American Club.
