Frances Ustohal Is Dead at 85
LINWOOD – Services for Mrs. Frances Ustohal, 85, of Linwood, will be at 8:45 a.m. Wednesday from Moser’s Funeral Home in North Bend and at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday from St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Linwood with the Rev. Father Edward Kolar officiating. Rosary will be at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
She was born Dec. 27, 1768 [1876] in Litostrac, Moravia, Czechoslovakia and died Monday at the home of her daughter in Lincoln.
She had lived most of her life in Linwood. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Linwood.
Mrs. Ustohal was married Nov. 22, 1898 in Abie to Julius Ustohal. He died Feb. 12, 1962.
Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Lydia McCracken of Lincoln, Mrs. Mary Kavan and Mrs. Julia Phillips of North Bend, Mrs. Anna Kovar of Schuyler, Mrs. Agnes Chromy of Linwood and Mrs. Blanche Prochaska of Hemingford; five sons, Joe and Jerry of Linwood, Tony of Scottsbluff, Ernest of Omaha and Julius of North Bend; 28 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Linwood.
