Birth: 2nd of three known children in Carthage, Jasper county, Missouri.

NOTE: His earliest ancestors were among the early Dutch settlers of New York with his great-grandfather, George Esterly (1809NY-1893SD) an inventor and creator of 1844-1892, Whitewater, Walworth county, Wisconsin, then Minneapolis, Hennepin county, Minnesota (1892-1896).

Census: 1920, age 9 Carthage, Jasper county, Missouri with parents, paternal grandmother & two older siblings at 1012 south McGregor street.

Census: 1930, age 19 Carthage, Jasper county, Missouri with parents & two older siblings at 1012 south McGregor street.

Attended Carthage public schools and Kansas State University.

Among his many architectural accomplishments in life was the design of the first Carthage Junior High School, with its first class graduating 1959 at 837 east Centennial, now an Intermediate school with junior high removed to 1904 built high school building in 700 block south Main street. Albert was appointed a member of the Missouri Board for Architects, Professional Engineers, Professional Land Surveyors and Landscape Architects by Governor Warren Hearnes. He piloted his own airplane and enjoyed hunting in Canada as well as fishing in Missouri.

Mother: Nellie Weide b: 19 MAR 1877 in Washington city, District of Columbia.
