IDA EMALINE ANDERSON JETER
Mrs. John H. Jeter, 58, died at 2 a.m. Friday at Holston Valley Community Hospital following a lengthy illness. Her home was 221 West Wanola Avenue.
She was born in Hawkins County, was the daughter of Mrs. Cindy Herron Anderson and the late Perry Anderson and had been a resident of Kingsport for 39 years.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, John H. Jeter; one daughter, Mrs.. Walbert A. Snapp, Lakeland, Florida; one son, George D. Jeter, Kingsport; two grandchildren; her mother, Mrs. Cindy Herron Anderson, Gate City, Virginia, Route 3; one sister, Mrs. Floyd Byrd, Telford; two brothers: H. E. (Jack) Anderson and George P. Anderson of Gate City, Virginia; one half-sister, Mrs. Melissa Milhorn, Gray Station; two half-brothers: Kyle Anderson, Gate City, Virginia, and Garnie Anderson, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Carter-Clamon Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Dr. E. Gibson Davis will officiate. Burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
The body will remain at the funeral home until time for the funeral. The family will receive friends there and at the home.
