Rev. Arnold Johnson, Rev. J.P. Ables and Rev. Delmer Owens officiated at the funeral held at the Fyffe First Baptist Church. Burial was in Fyffe Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Henry Ayers of Fyffe; four daughters, Mrs. Lola Bailey of Fort Payne, Mrs. Thelma Benton of Chickamauga, Ga., Mrs. Velma Lee Wilks of Henagar and Mrs. Wilma Downs of Albertville; three sons, Rev. Hoyt Ayers of Kentucky, Larence Ayers of Fort Payne, H.D. Ayers of Tennessee; one sister, Mrs. Mary Brown of Gadsden; one brother, Jim McGullion of Sylvania; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
