Edward L. Shinkle, 77, of 1617 South Madison Street, died at his home last evening. Mr. Shinkle was the owner of a drug store at 1525 South Madison Street. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge at Casey, Ill. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Zona Shinkle; two sons, Glenn R. and Byron E. Shinkle; a grandson, Michael Shinkle; one brother, Robert C. Shinkle; and one sister, Mrs. Herbert Bard.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 o'clock Tuesday morning at the Meeks Mortuary. Entombment will take place in Elm Ridge Mausoleum. Friends may call at the mortuary after 4 o'clock this afternoon.
