Alvin S. Wickline and Miss Alta May Hubble, were quietly married at the residence of Rev. Alexander Engle, yesterday evening. Only a few friends and relatives were present to witness the ceremony. The bride is the youngest child of Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Hubble, who reside southeast of the city. The groom is a promising young carpenter of this town. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Moses Wickline, who reside near Carlisle. After a few days' visit with relatives Mr. and Mrs. Wickline will go to housekeeping in their newly built cottage in Mullane's addition. A host of friends join in wishing them a long and happy married life.

Mrs. Alta M. Wickline; Paxton Sept. 2. Services For Mrs. Alta M. Wickline 78 years old, who died at 1 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Thornberry Nursing Home in Vincennes, will be at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Alexander Funeral Home in Sullivan. The Rev. Charles Myers will officiate and burial will be in Merom Cemetery. Surviving are a son. Harold C. Wickline of Dallas, TEX.; three daughters, Mrs Gladys Kerkhof of Pontiac, Mich.; Mrs Lucille Curry of Carlisle and Mrs. Ruth Kirschner of Paxton. 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the funeral home.
