S.K. (Kay) Roberts passed away early Wednesday morning at the Shattuck hospital where he had been for several days. Mr. Roberts had been in poor health for the past several years. Interment was made in the Durham cemetery following funeral services in Cheyenne.
Mr. Roberts had been a resident of Roger Mills County for more than thirty years. For many years he ran a store at Crawford. For the past few years he has made his home in Cheyenne.
He leaves to mourn his going of his immediate family his wife, Mary E. Roberts, a son, Mark N Roberts, wife and son, Terrell of Long Beach, California; a daughter, Alice Copp and husband of Cheyenne; a brother Pres W. Roberts and family, Kansas City, Mo.; a sister Mrs. J.W. Rorabaugh and family of Crawford.
Funeral services were held in the Methodist church with W.H. Mouser of Cheyenne delivering the funeral address and Rev. J.W. Graham, minister, officiating.
The Tunnard Funeral Home was in charge of the burial.
