Alberto N. Abril, 72, member of a pioneer Arizona family, died Tuesday in Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Abril, of 1124 S. Fifth Ave., was born in Tubac and was active in the Catholic Cursillistas Organization. He had been a Dairyman and helped construct the Arizona State Fairground and Hotel Westward Ho.
Mr. Abril and his wife, Josefa, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in May 1962.
Rosary will be at 8:30 p.m. today in Whitney and Murphy Funeral Home, 330 N. Second Ave.
Survivors, besides his wife, include four daughters, Mrs. Tillie Doak, Mrs. Faye Napoleon, Mrs. Mary Gurule, and Mrs. Lillie Tena; five sons, Richard, Frank, Albert Jr., Joe and Eugene; three brothers, Abraham, Joe and Carlos all of Phoenix; 41 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
