He was the seventh burial in the Smith Family Cemetery. Robert Campbell was born in Dekalb County Georgia. Robert and Pauline Carolina D'Alviney were married October 9, 1855 in Atlanta Georgia and raised 12 children 7 sons and 5 daughters. Robert was a farmer all his life and Pauline was a house wife and a stay at home mom all her life. The cemetery that they are buried in is sometimes referred to as the Smith Family Cemetery, Campbell Family Cemetery, Smith / Campbell Family Cemetery and the DeFoors Cemetery. According to what I have been told all my life is that this cemetery is called the Smith Family Cemetery. Robert Campbell and his wife Pauline Carolina Campbell (D'Alvigny) may or may not be buried beside each other. Her side of their marker only reads MOTHER. They're the parent of Evelina Adeline Campbell Smith. Evelina is the wife of Henry Bentley Smith. They're the parent of Charles Edward Smith Senior. He is my grandfather and Henry and Evelina Smith are my great grandparent. Henry and Evelina Smith are buried at Crest Lawn Cemetery in Section 4. In June 2014 myself TBH and my cousin KJK probed the area in front of the Robert and Pauline Campbell marker to confirm he and Pauline were both buried there. This was confirmed that Pauline Carolina Campbell was buried beside her husband Robert and her information was never engraved on her side of the marker. Upon discovering of the death certificate for Pauline Carolina D'Alvigny Campbell who passed away in 1924 was the last person buried in the cemetery until 1940. The name of this cemetery shown on both death certificates is DeFoors Cemetery.
