THOMPSON –LIDA E. JACKSON age 103 of RR 2, Box 32, Lacey Street, Laceyville died at her home on Lacey Street Tuesday morning, May 30, 1995. She was born on June 23, 1891 in Towanda the daughter of Edward and Eva Finney Thompson. Mrs. Jackson was the wife of H. Ray Jackson who died in 1953. The Jacksons and their family owned and operated Jackson Farms on Lacey Street for four generations. Mrs. Jackson was a member of the Skinners Eddy United Methodist Church in Laceyville, Pa. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Helen Salsman of Lacey Street, Laceyville and a son and daughter-in-law, Ralph and Betty Jackson of Lacey Street, Laceyville; also five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Burton Salsman who died in 1988. The funeral service will be held Thursday June 1, 1995 at 1p.m. at the Sheldon Funeral Home, Main Street, Laceyville. Interment will be in the Lacey Street Cemetery. At. Mrs. Jackson's request there will be no calling hours. –Towanda Daily Review
